Taro Chinen from Japan has supplied the following text and images about the forthcoming 1/72 scale Messerschmitt Bf 109F-2 from Fine Molds:

Yesterday I went to the All Japan Plastic Model & Radio Control Model Show 2004, held on 1,2 and 3 October.

I was fortunate to speak to Fine Molds' President Suzuki about their forthcoming 1/72 scale Messerschmitt Bf 109F-2/4. http://www.sala.or.jp/~fm/THS/2004ths.htm

He told me that this kit is made entirely by 3D CAD system, a first for Fine Molds.

The Bf 109F-2 kit includes decals with a complex camouflage pattern of II./JG54. The Bf 109F-4 kit will have the markings for Heinrich Graf von Einsiedel.

If all goes according to plan these kits will be available in Japan by Christmas.
