Grand Phoenix has announced their forthcoming "Ultimate" range of 1/48 scale, multimedia model aircraft.

The "Ultimate" range will include some brand new tool kits and others that have the plastic sourced from recent Airfix kits.

All releases will be supplemented with resin details from Aires and Aeromaster decals. As an example, the Seafire kit will feature full engine and cowling detail in addition to resin wingfolds and a replacement cockpit.

• New-tool Demon - February 2004 (also a second version later in 2004)

• English Electric Lightning - April/May 2004

• Spitfire Mk.22/24 - April/May 2004

• Firefly Mk.V - September 2004

• New-tool Hawker Sea Hawk - September 2004

More information about these kits will be available closer to release.
