QuickLook

Zvezda has released the Russian Nuclear Submarine K-266 "Oriol". This vessel was launched in 1992 and still patrols with the Northern Fleet today.

This is a very simple kit, reflecting the simple design of the submarine.

Upon opening the box you are greeted by two small sprues and the long hull halves. A total of 40 parts make up the entire kit, including three parts for the stand. All parts are moulded in black styrene plastic. Decals for the Oriol are also included.

Detail is nice and crisp, and there is not much flash present.

This subject will be an interesting model, and should appeal both to Naval nuts and other modellers looking for something a little bit different.

Recommended.
