This special publication from IPMS Canada describes and illustrates Luftwaffe anti-personnel weapons and containers. The 30 page book is ring-bound and presented in landscape format with a cardboard cover. Coverage of anti-personnel bombs and containers is quite comprehensive. The text appears to be lifted directly from Allied captured equipment reports. Judging by the terminology, it seems likely that these reports are American in origin. All the weapon types are illustrated using captioned halftone drawings. The reproduction of these drawings is very good, and the captions text has been re-keyed for maximum clarity. Colours of the weapons are quoted in the reports, but the terminology is couched as general descriptions (eg, khaki, lead grey, field grey, buff etc) rather than RLM references. I was surprised that there was no introductory text to describe the specific source of the original documents; nor any contents table to help find specific weapons. IPMS Canada's website states that this is the first in a series of aircraft detail books and monographs. . Luftwaffe Anti-Personnel Weapons will be very helpful for Luftwaffe modellers planning to hang this style of ordnance from their models. The book is exclusively available from IPMS Canada. Recommended. Thanks to IPMS Canada for the review sample. Luftwaffe Anti-Personnel Weapons
