Short run kits have their advantages and their disadvantages.
On the one hand, there will be more cleaning up and preparation
of plastic parts, and Pavla/Octopus have sometimes presented fit problems too,
so I would recommend test-fitting all the components before fixing them with
glue.

But on the other hand, where else will you find a well-detailed
1/72 scale Seafire in all its glory? Not from the mainstream manufacturers it
would seem. Australia's High Planes models recently released a Seafire III but
it is not as cleanly moulded as this model, and that lovely resin interior in
the Pavla/Octopus kit is one heck of a plus!

Instructions are of the high quality we have come to expect from
Octopus. The decals are of equally high quality. There are four marking options
- three Fleet Air Arm and one French Navy.

This 1/72 scale Octopus kit should result in a really nice
replica of the Seafire III straight from the box. I recommend it to modellers
with experience working with short run kits.
Recommended.
